Do you have any old sunglasses lying around the house?
If you answered "yes," you can now free up some drawer space and donate your sunglasses to a good cause. 


What will we do with your donated sunglasses?
We will take gently-used or new sunglasses and distribute them to people worldwide who cannot afford them.  We will pilot the program by donating glasses to the Flying Samaritans ophthalmology/optometry clinic in Tecate, Mexico.

Why make the effort?
According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, studies show that
exposure to bright sunlight may increase the risk of developing cataracts, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), pterygia and growths on the eye, including cancer.
